Rest assured, since this is something which has come from the brains of Elk Studios, you will be enjoying a slot with a well-rounded story behind it. There is even a little cinematic event at the start which builds up what this Elk slot is all about.

All you really need to know is that you are in the future. It really feels 'futuristic' too with some incredibly unique logos which have been designed for this Kaiju slot, although we didn't really expect anything less from Elk.

They are a company who really know how to produce something which looks stunning. You know that. We know that.

We do have one complaint about the look

The reels are too small.

It is not that much of a problem when you are playing on the desktop version of the slot, but when you boot it up as the Kaiju mobile slot, you are left wondering why they left all the real estate free on the side of the page.

This is a bit of a design flaw, and that is something which this software provider doesn't really do normally; just look at the stunning Hidden slot or even Electric Sam game.

Elk slot is probably not for beginners

As brilliant as Kaiju is as a slot machine, we really don't think that it is going to be an ideal slot for beginners.

The features are too confusing, and they are not features that you will be encountering that often, if at all if you play other slot machines.

For example; the wilds are dealt with in a slightly different way in the Kaiju slot machine. They don't actually appear on the reels like normal. Instead, you need to get 3 identical symbols in a diagonal row.

The Wild symbol will then appear at the top of the reel. It can net you some useful combinations, but it is sorely missed on the actual reels.

We feel as if Elk were getting a little bit too quirky with this feature. It works, but it is a touch annoying.

The Kaiju free spins get even more confusing

As much as we love our free spins, we fear that the free spins in this slot game are unique for the sake of being unique.

You start out with the same amount as the base game (243 ways to win), but if you are lucky, you can go all the way up to 7776 ways to win, although you probably don't have enough free spins to get there.

You are more likely to cap out at a few thousand, which is still not bad.

Play on a high variance slot machine

The problem with having a bonus feature which pays so well is the fact that the other non-bonus round don’t pay quite as well.

This Kaiju slot is one of the highest volatility games around right now.
