We would have loved if there was a separate symbol for the jackpot. It would have given the win a touch more glamour, but we can see why Microgaming went down this route. It keeps things simple.

Not as popular as other Microgaming progressive slots

It does baffle us, sometimes, as to why people play Major Millions nowadays. Yes. We understand; there is a life-changing sum of cash available, so does Mega Moolah in fact. Or even newer jackpots like Holmes and the Stolen Stones.

But since there are fewer people playing on this game than some of the other progressives it never quite gets to the millions; maybe a few hundreds of thousands at most.

Yes. The bushy moustached Major would have been good 'back in the day', but nowadays it is just an old slot machine with a so-so army theme.

That being said, this video slot is a little bit better than Mega Moolah insofar as the fact that the chances of winning the progressive are not dictated by the amount that you are betting.

Is Major Millions slot worth playing?

We are in two minds as to whether we can recommend Major Millions online or mobile slot to you.

Obviously, it does have some appeal to players. There is a reason why Microgaming thought it would be worth upgrading their ancient Army themed slot to get it playing at mobile casinos, but there are countless progressives which are more engaging than this.

By all means give it a spin or two. However, we think most of the excitement of this old fashioned slot game comes from nostalgia – it’s not the army theme, the Girls With Guns slot is more exciting than this.
